Midnight Circus returns with an all new purple blue little Big Top for the expanded 2011 Circus in the Parks Tour. This is a one-of-a-kind family-friendly event has amazed and delighted thousands of Chicagoans with all proceeds going toward local park improvements.

Chicagoland Speedway, for the second consecutive year, will kick off the "Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup" during the 2012 season on September 18. The race will be celebrating it's 10th year. The Geico Caveman will be honored as the Grand Marshal of a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and will officially start the 2011 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

The Vintage Bazaar is a roving flea market filled with reasonably priced vintage décor, furniture, clothing, and accessories. On September 18, The Congress Theater will host the flea market and will feature 70+ vendors of vintage decor, furniture, housewares, clothing and accessories. Plus food from local Chicago vendors, beer, wine and cocktails, DJ entertainment by CHIRP, a photobooth and haircuts.

Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Since 1989, this all age, all-ability walk has mobilized millions to join the fight against Alzheimer's disease, raising more than $347 million for the cause. Events are held annually in the fall in nearly 600 communities nationwide.All Walk to End Alzheimer's donations benefit the Alzheimer's Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. More than two decades running, this is the granddaddy of all poetry slams. Marc Smith--the founder of the national slam movement--hosts this weekly evening of poetry which features an open mic (7 p.m.), a featured guest performance (8 p.m.) and a slam competition (9 p.m.)
